Disk Label Corruption in Linux
In the Linux operating system, the disks are mounted through labels, instead of device path. This is the most effective approach as the device name and path may change when you boot and thus may create several complications for the system and hence for the user.
So the disks are assigned labels so that the devices may mount up in the correct place. Thus disk labels are the important structure for the access of the Linux volumes. All entries for disks to be mounted at startup are in the file /etc/fstab.
This has been found in few of the cases when the disk labels are found to be corrupted which renders the access of the Linux volumes and hence the data. These situations create the scenario of Linux recovery in-demand.
This may happen at the boot time. This is known that the fsck runs automatically each time when you run the system. This checks the integrity of the file system and the related errors. But the improper or incomplete operation of this command may raise the chances of data loss.
If the power gets lost at the time when fsck check is on its way, this may put your Linux volumes out of the access of the system. Running the fdisk /dev/hdb for manipulating the partition tables, you may get a warning:
“Warning: invalid flag 0x0000 of partition table 4 will be corrected by w(rite)”
This suggests that the disk labels have got corrupted due to which the volumes can’t be seen and accessed. This is the case when you need to access the data via the help of some powerful utility. As the data always resides on the hard drive and Linux data recovery can be performed if the suitable technique is deployed for the same, Linux data recovery software come into existence.

Data recovery Linux are the utilities which make use of the influential algorithms and give abstract and interactive interface to the user and thus make Linux recovery possible within few clicks. Top-notch quality Linux recovery products retrieve your data by letting you access your lost volumes in either of the case.
Stellar Phoenix Linux Data Recovery software works for the best when you actually require Linux data recovery. The efforts put in by this software are aimed for useful data recovery in all the cases.

The software is valuable for data recovery Linux for Ext2, Ext3 and Reiser FS file systems. This Linux recovery utility recognizes each type of file and file filter option of the software offers you selective Linux data recovery.

what about uuid
The first sentence of the article makes it seem like mounitng by label is the only method linux can use. /etc/fstab can still use device paths and uuid can also be used for unambiguous filesystem identification.
fsck does not necessarily run at every boot, it is configurable. Good thing too, or we'd all be suffering through several minutes of bootup time eveytime we turned on our computers.
The 3rd and 4th paragraphs are confusing. What is the "This" that is referred to in these paragraphs and throughout the article?
And what about FOSS data recovery products?
nice article
Hi,
Very nice and informative article.. I have used this Linux data recovery software and it works well for me...
Thanks
