In order to deploy high-quality IPv6 protocol stack, we, USAGI Project, have analyzed and addressed issues on Linux IPv6 implementation. In this paper / in our talk in OLS2003, we describe the analysis of Linux IPv6 protocol stack, improvements and implementation of the IPv6 and IPsec protocol stack and patches which are integrated into the mainline kernel. We will explain the impacts of our API improvements on network applications.

We want to discuss on missing pieces and direction for future development.

As a demonstration we would like to provide IPv6 network connectivity to the OLS2003 meeting venue.
