In this paper I will present the current state of DCCP for Linux, looking at several implementations done for Linux and for other kernels, how well they interoperate, how the implementation I'm working on took advantage of the work presented in my OLS 2004 talk TCPfying the poor cousins and ideas about pluggabble congestion control algorithms in DCCP, taking advantage of recent work by Stephen Hemminger on having a IO scheduler like infrastructure for congestion control algorithms in TCP.
