This directory contains at least three subdirectories. The default directory is used to initialize an interface as it is probed and loaded, the all directory applies to all interfaces. There is also a directory for each interface loaded, named by the interface name assigned by its driver, that contains the values and parameters specific to that interface. eth0 is used here as an example interface directory. Each interface directory has the same files present but their use, scope, and values can differ.
